Prescription support: every published route
Each route has its own verification date below. A recent check of one source does not re-verify the other routes or prices.
A route is one way of getting corrected vision in these glasses. Each row keeps a provider's limits and source separate; the checker considers passing official routes for your country first. Figures come from the cited manufacturer or lens provider, including independent providers. A provider publishing its service does not establish manufacturer endorsement. About source labels.

HTC VIVE participating optical retail partners (not named): notes
Lens price: Not published. HTC asks buyers to confirm prescription compatibility, lens options, pricing, fitting times, warranty cover and service fees with an authorised VIVE Eagle optical partner before buying.
HTC's FAQ on its UK, US, Canadian, Australian, German and French overview pages says VIVE Eagle can be fitted with prescription lenses through participating optical retail partners; the UK page adds that this is subject to an in-store evaluation by a qualified eye care professional. Read on 7 October 2026. HTC's Italian and Spanish Eagle overview pages return 404 and no Irish or Dutch overview page was found, so this route is listed only for the six markets where the wording was seen. No partner is named on the UK page, and HTC's UK Eagle stores page returns 404, so UK buyers have no named partner to check a prescription with. HTC publishes no SPH, CYL or total-power range, so this route cannot confirm any prescription.
Lucyd (official VIVE partner, US): notes
Lens price: Lucyd shows the glasses at $499 with an 'Add prescription' option; the prescription lens price was not shown on the pages read on 7 October 2026.
HTC's US store says Official VIVE Partner Lucyd offers VIVE Eagle with prescription lenses, eligible for HSA/FSA purchase. Lucyd's product page offers 'Add prescription' when buying the glasses and says Zeiss Photofusion Rx lenses are available; 'no frames to send' is based on that purchase option, as the visible page says nothing about sending in frames. Lucyd does not state which countries it ships to: it is listed for the US because HTC names it only on its US store and Lucyd's store defaults to United States (USD). Lucyd's product data also mentions single vision or progressive fitting by its optical lab, but that text does not appear on the visible page, so progressive support is left unconfirmed. The prescription configurator could not be read, and no SPH, CYL or total-power limit is published.
LensSwap (official VIVE Eagle lens partner, Australia): notes
Lens price: The base price shows as $0.00, which looks like a placeholder. Index upgrades are listed at +$60 (1.60), +$120 (1.67) and +$190 (1.74); the page does not say which currency these are in.
Lens options: blue filter, photochromic.
HTC's Australian overview names LensSwap as its lens partner and links to this page, and HTC's Australian stores page lists it under Prescription Lenses. LensSwap calls itself an Official VIVE Eagle Partner and describes an Australia-wide lens replacement service. Its Eagle page carries a general lens guide covering single vision, office, bifocal and multifocal lenses, and describes its Essential and Digital Multifocal lenses as progressive designs. The product's own option selector shows only quantity, and bifocal appears only in the general guide, so progressive and bifocal support for the Eagle are left unknown until LensSwap confirms them for this product. The page also names blue-light filters and photochromic lenses, but publishes no SPH, CYL, ADD or total-power limits. It quotes about 1.5 to 2 weeks to make custom lenses. The page mentions free prepaid shipping both ways and also lenses delivered ready to self-fit, so whether you send in your frames is unclear.
This tool compares your prescription with published manufacturer or lens-provider ranges. It is not optical advice and does not replace a dispensing optician. Use a current prescription and ask your dispensing practitioner to confirm the applicable prescription-age and supervision requirements. In the UK, prescription spectacles for anyone under 16, or registered sight impaired or severely sight impaired, must be supplied by or under the supervision of a registered practitioner.
Before you order
Ask the provider to confirm your exact model and frame variant, prescription, lens type, fitting requirements, total price and warranty terms. A published power range is only part of that check.
