Prescription support: every published route

Each route has its own verification date below. A recent check of one source does not re-verify the other routes or prices.

A route is one way of getting corrected vision in these glasses. Each row keeps a provider's limits and source separate; the checker considers passing official routes for your country first. Figures come from the cited manufacturer or lens provider, including independent providers. A provider publishing its service does not establish manufacturer endorsement. About source labels.

Meta.com: notes

Lens options: clear, transitions.

Meta.com prescription orders: Meta's June 2026 Meta Glasses post gives 'Meta.com Rx range: -6 to +2.25' without saying sphere or total power, which is stricter than the -12.00 to +2.25 total power on the Capri and Nova pages, so the stricter figure is recorded for Meta.com and the rule as not published. Meta's Nova page says prescription lenses can be bought from Meta.com in the US only; Meta's 23 September 2026 post adds Canada.

Optician of your choice (Meta's published range): notes

Lens options: clear, transitions.

Meta's Capri and Nova pages (read on 7 October 2026) say: “Accommodates prescription range -12.00 to +2.25 total power.” Total power is sphere plus cylinder. The Capri FAQ says it “supports prescription lenses including single vision, progressives and Transitions®” and that “All Meta Glasses frames are Rx-compatible”; the Nova FAQ lists the same lens types. Meta's help centre says: “The eligible Rx range for Meta Glasses is -12.00 to +2.25 total power.”00”) and is not repeated on the Capri or Nova pages. Bifocal lenses are not mentioned. Meta's prescription page tells Meta Glasses owners to visit “one of our recommended optical partners, or any optician of your choice.” Meta's Rx Lens Swap terms (https://www.meta.com/gb/legal/meta-glasses/rx-lens-swap/, UK and US versions, last updated 30 April 2026) apply to “Meta AI glasses only”, exclude Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta and Meta Ray-Ban Display, and require fitting by a professional optical provider (optician, optometrist, ophthalmologist or optical lab). Meta covers frame damage caused by professional installation for one year from purchase or delivery, whichever is later; it does not cover the lenses, self-installation or poor-quality work. The terms do not name Capri or Nova. The Capri and Nova pages give a 24-month EssilorLuxottica warranty and do not say whether optician fitting affects it. Meta's Capri and Nova pages do not publish a separate cylinder limit; the 6.00 figure in Meta's Meta Glasses FAQ appears only on the Adventurer page, so it is not applied here.

This tool compares your prescription with published manufacturer or lens-provider ranges. It is not optical advice and does not replace a dispensing optician. Use a current prescription and ask your dispensing practitioner to confirm the applicable prescription-age and supervision requirements. In the UK, prescription spectacles for anyone under 16, or registered sight impaired or severely sight impaired, must be supplied by or under the supervision of a registered practitioner.

Before you order

Ask the provider to confirm your exact model and frame variant, prescription, lens type, fitting requirements, total price and warranty terms. A published power range is only part of that check.

John Lewis lists Capri (Classic Black, Transitions Grey) at £339 and Nova (Sandstone, Chocolate sun lens) at £269. Prices are for the glasses with the listed non-prescription lenses. “Add to bag” shows the item can be ordered; it does not confirm stock. Meta.com sells prescription pairs only in the US and Canada, so UK buyers can have prescription lenses fitted by an optician instead.
