Camera AI glasses in the Ray-Ban Aviator frame, part of Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3). Meta gives this frame a narrower prescription range, −6.00 to +4.00 total power, than the −12.00 to +6.00 it gives for Wayfarer and Zena (Gen 3), with single vision, progressives and Transitions.

Prescription support: every published route

Each route has its own verification date below. A recent check of one source does not re-verify the other routes or prices.

A route is one way of getting corrected vision in these glasses. Each row keeps a provider's limits and source separate; the checker considers passing official routes for your country first. Figures come from the cited manufacturer or lens provider, including independent providers. A provider publishing its service does not establish manufacturer endorsement. About source labels.

Ray-Ban.com, Ray-Ban Stores and certified retailers (Meta's published Aviator range): notes

Lens price: Ray-Ban UK lists the Aviator (Gen 3) Optics frame at £409, marked 'Made for prescription', on 7 October 2026; the price of the prescription lenses themselves was not shown on the pages read. Request an exact quote.

Meta's UK Aviator (Gen 3) page (read 7 October 2026) says “Accommodates prescription range -6.00 to +4.00 total power”, so the cylinder is added to the sphere before the test, and its FAQ says “Single vision, progressives and Transitions® prescription lenses are available.” Meta's help article gives −12.00 to +6.00 total power for Ray-Ban Meta glasses but names the Gen 3 Aviator as an exception at −6.00 to +4.00, so the wider range does not apply to this frame. Bifocals and a separate cylinder limit are not mentioned. Meta's UK store has no prescription option for the Aviator; Meta's UK prescription page sends buyers to Ray-Ban.com, a Ray-Ban Store or certified physical retailers and says “The manufacturer's warranty will only remain intact if you get prescription lenses in one of these points of sales.” The range available can vary by retailer.

Meta.com (US and Canada): notes

Lens price: No prescription-lens price for the Aviator on Meta.com was recorded on 7 October 2026. Check the price at checkout.

Meta's US Aviator (Gen 3) page (read 7 October 2026) offers 'Shop prescription', says Meta offers single-vision and progressive lenses, and gives “-6.00 to +4.00 total power”. Meta's blog of 23 September 2026 says prescription ordering on Meta.com also opened in Canada for Ray-Ban Meta glasses; it does not name the Aviator, and a prescription option on the Canadian Aviator page was not confirmed, so check at checkout. Meta's UK store shows no prescription option for the Aviator.

Vision Express (UK optician): notes

Lens price: Prescription lens price not published on the Vision Express Gen 3 pages read on 7 October 2026. The £409 to £489 prices are for non-prescription versions.

Vision Express says 'Ray-Ban Meta Generation 3 glasses are available with prescription lenses in store and online', and its Aviator RW 4016 and RW 4016V product pages show a 'Prescription lenses' option. No SPH, CYL or total-power range is published on the listing or the product pages (read 7 October 2026). Meta's own Aviator range is −6.00 to +4.00 total power; confirm the exact range with Vision Express before ordering. Marked unofficial because no Meta or Ray-Ban page read on 7 October 2026 names Vision Express: Meta's help article refers only to 'participating certified retailers' and links to Ray-Ban's US store locator. Meta's UK prescription page says the manufacturer's warranty stays intact only for prescription lenses from Ray-Ban.com, a Ray-Ban Store or a certified physical retailer, so ask whether this retailer counts as certified.

Boots Opticians (UK; offers what it calls Ray-Ban Authentic prescription lenses): notes

Lens price: Not published on the Boots Opticians Ray-Ban Meta page read on 7 October 2026.

Lens options: clear, sun tint, transitions.

Boots Opticians lists 'Aviator 0RW4016 (Gen 3)' and says Ray-Ban Meta is 'Available with Ray-Ban Authentic prescription lenses in clear, sun and Transitions®'. It is sold in all Boots Opticians stores except those at Morrisons. No prescription range is published; Meta's own Aviator range is −6.00 to +4.00 total power, so confirm the exact range with the store before ordering. 'Ray-Ban Authentic' is Boots's own description; marked unofficial because no Meta or Ray-Ban page read on 7 October 2026 names Boots Opticians. Meta's UK prescription page says the manufacturer's warranty stays intact only for prescription lenses from Ray-Ban.com, a Ray-Ban Store or a certified physical retailer, so ask whether this retailer counts as certified.

VR ROCK (independent replacement lenses, worldwide): notes

Lens price: from $20 (Base price $20.00 on VR ROCK's own product page, checked 7 October 2026. The total for a prescription depends on the lens choices made on the order form).

Listed as “Prescription Lenses for Ray-Ban Meta Glasses (Gen 3, Gen 2, Gen 1)”; its model choices include Aviator RW4016. Limits read from VR ROCK's own order form on 7 October 2026: SPH and CYL are chosen from separate dropdowns, so the sphere and cylinder limits apply independently. SPH runs from -20.00 to +12.00. Astigmatism (cylinder) up to 10.00 is accepted. Axis 0–180. Single vision, progressive and bifocal lenses are offered, with a reading addition of +0.50 to +3.00 for progressive and bifocal orders. This is an independent reglazing service, not a Meta or EssilorLuxottica route. Meta's UK prescription page states “The manufacturer's warranty will only remain intact if you get prescription lenses in one of these points of sales” (Ray-Ban.com, a Ray-Ban Store or a certified physical retailer), so using this route may affect the frame warranty. VR ROCK's sphere range is much wider than Meta's −6.00 to +4.00 for this frame; confirm with VR ROCK that your prescription can be made for the Aviator before ordering.

This tool compares your prescription with published manufacturer or lens-provider ranges. It is not optical advice and does not replace a dispensing optician. Use a current prescription and ask your dispensing practitioner to confirm the applicable prescription-age and supervision requirements. In the UK, prescription spectacles for anyone under 16, or registered sight impaired or severely sight impaired, must be supplied by or under the supervision of a registered practitioner.

Before you order

Ask the provider to confirm your exact model and frame variant, prescription, lens type, fitting requirements, total price and warranty terms. A published power range is only part of that check.
