Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3)

Camera AI glasses in Wayfarer (Standard and Large) and Zena frames. Meta gives −12.00 to +6.00 total power for prescription lenses, with single vision, progressives and Transitions. The Gen 3 Aviator has its own entry on this site because Meta publishes a narrower range for it.

Prescription support: every published route

Each route has its own verification date below. A recent check of one source does not re-verify the other routes or prices.

A route is one way of getting corrected vision in these glasses. Each row keeps a provider's limits and source separate; the checker considers passing official routes for your country first. Figures come from the cited manufacturer or lens provider, including independent providers. A provider publishing its service does not establish manufacturer endorsement. About source labels.

Ray-Ban.com, Ray-Ban Stores and certified retailers (Meta's published range): notes

Lens price: Ray-Ban UK lists Wayfarer (Gen 3) Optics and Zena (Gen 3) Optics frames at £409, marked 'Made for prescription', on 7 October 2026; the price of the prescription lenses themselves was not shown on the pages read. Ask Ray-Ban or your retailer for a quote.

Meta's UK Wayfarer (Gen 3) and Zena (Gen 3) product pages (read 7 October 2026) say “Accommodates prescription range -12.00 to +6.00 total power”, so the cylinder is added to the sphere before the test. Their FAQ says “Single vision, progressives and Transitions® prescription lenses are available for all (Gen 3) styles.” Meta's help article gives the same −12.00 to +6.00 total power for Ray-Ban Meta glasses, names the Gen 3 Aviator as the only exception (see its own entry), and says prescription orders go through Ray-Ban.com and participating certified retailers. Bifocals and a separate cylinder limit are not mentioned. Meta's UK store has no prescription option for Gen 3; Meta's UK prescription page sends buyers to Ray-Ban.com, a Ray-Ban Store or certified physical retailers and says “The manufacturer's warranty will only remain intact if you get prescription lenses in one of these points of sales.” The range available can vary by retailer.

Meta.com (US and Canada): notes

Lens price: No prescription-lens price for Gen 3 on Meta.com was recorded on 7 October 2026. Check the price at checkout.

Meta's US Wayfarer (Gen 3) page (read 7 October 2026) gives “-12.00 to +6.00 total power”, and Meta's US prescription page says Ray-Ban Meta glasses can be ordered with prescription lenses directly on Meta.com. Meta's blog of 23 September 2026 says prescription ordering on Meta.com also opened in Canada for Ray-Ban Meta glasses; it does not name Gen 3, and a prescription option on the Canadian Gen 3 pages was not confirmed, so check at checkout. Meta's UK store shows no prescription option for Gen 3.

Vision Express (UK optical retailer, in store and online): notes

Lens price: Vision Express shows frame prices (£409 for Wayfarer and Zena without Transitions, £489 with Transitions) but no prescription-lens price for Gen 3 on 7 October 2026. Ask for a quote.

Vision Express says Ray-Ban Meta Generation 3 glasses are available with prescription lenses in store and online. On 7 October 2026 its Wayfarer (Gen 3) RW 4011V and Zena (Gen 3) RW 4015V product pages each showed a 'Prescription lenses' option. It publishes no prescription range, total-power limit or varifocal detail for Gen 3, so the checker cannot test this route; Meta's own range for these frames is −12.00 to +6.00 total power. Ask Vision Express which range it offers before ordering. Not marked as a manufacturer-named route: Meta's help article refers to participating certified retailers without naming them, and on 7 October 2026 Meta's UK authorised-retailer page (https://www.meta.com/gb/retailers/) listed Vision Express under Meta Glasses but not under Ray-Ban Meta. Meta's UK prescription page says the manufacturer's warranty stays intact only for prescription lenses from Ray-Ban.com, a Ray-Ban Store or a certified physical retailer, so ask whether this retailer counts as certified.

Boots Opticians (UK optical retailer, in store): notes

Lens price: Boots Opticians publishes no prescription-lens price for Gen 3 on 7 October 2026. Ask in store for a quote.

Lens options: clear, sun tint, transitions.

Boots Opticians says Gen 3 is available with Ray-Ban Authentic prescription lenses in clear, sun and Transitions, in all its stores except those inside Morrisons. Its Wayfarer (Gen 3) 0RW4011V product page adds that frame availability can vary with individual prescriptions. No prescription range or varifocal detail is published, so the checker cannot test this route. On 7 October 2026 its brand page listed Wayfarer (Gen 3) and Aviator (Gen 3) but not Zena. Not marked as a manufacturer-named route: the 'Ray-Ban Authentic' wording is Boots Opticians' own, Meta's help article names no retailers, and Boots was not listed in the UK section of Meta's authorised-retailer page (https://www.meta.com/gb/retailers/) on 7 October 2026. Meta's UK prescription page says the manufacturer's warranty stays intact only for prescription lenses from Ray-Ban.com, a Ray-Ban Store or a certified physical retailer, so ask whether this retailer counts as certified.

VR ROCK (independent replacement lenses, worldwide): notes

Lens price: from $20 (Base price $20.00 on VR ROCK's own product page, checked 7 October 2026. The total for a prescription depends on the lens choices made on the order form).

Listed as “Prescription Lenses for Ray-Ban Meta Glasses (Gen 3, Gen 2, Gen 1)”; its model choices include Gen 3 Wayfarer RW4011 in sizes M and L, Aviator RW4016 and Zena RW4015. Limits read from VR ROCK's own order form on 7 October 2026: SPH and CYL are chosen from separate dropdowns, so the sphere and cylinder limits apply independently. SPH runs from -20.00 to +12.00. Astigmatism (cylinder) up to 10.00 is accepted. Axis 0–180. Single vision, progressive and bifocal lenses are offered, with a reading addition of +0.50 to +3.00 for progressive and bifocal orders. This is an independent reglazing service, not a Meta or EssilorLuxottica route. Meta's UK prescription page states “The manufacturer's warranty will only remain intact if you get prescription lenses in one of these points of sales” (Ray-Ban.com, a Ray-Ban Store or a certified physical retailer), so using this route may affect the frame warranty.

This tool compares your prescription with published manufacturer or lens-provider ranges. It is not optical advice and does not replace a dispensing optician. Use a current prescription and ask your dispensing practitioner to confirm the applicable prescription-age and supervision requirements. In the UK, prescription spectacles for anyone under 16, or registered sight impaired or severely sight impaired, must be supplied by or under the supervision of a registered practitioner.

Before you order

Ask the provider to confirm your exact model and frame variant, prescription, lens type, fitting requirements, total price and warranty terms. A published power range is only part of that check.
