Which smart glasses take varifocal lenses?
Varifocals — progressives — need a lens deep enough to carry a distance zone, a corridor and a reading zone. Smart glasses frames are often shallower than ordinary ones, and the electronics sit in the arms, so not every model can be glazed with them. This is what each maker publishes, not what a retailer estimates.
Short answer. Of the 14 models tracked, 6 publish varifocal support, 7 state single vision only, and 1 publishes nothing either way. In the UK specifically, 6 of them offer a varifocal route today. UK availability and prices.

"Via optician partner only" is not the same as yes
Several makers sell single-vision lenses through their own online checkout but hand varifocals to a partner optician, who measures the fitting heights on your face and orders the lens. That route usually costs more, takes longer, and is not available in every country — so a model can be listed as supporting varifocals globally and still have no varifocal route where you live. The country column on each model page records which markets a route is published for.
Reading addition (ADD)
The ADD figure on your card is the extra plus power for reading, and it sits on top of your distance prescription. Only 1 of the 14 makers publish an ADD range at all; where nothing is published, the checker reports the limit as unknown rather than assuming your ADD fits.
If varifocals are not offered
Where a model is single vision only, the published options are a distance-only pair, a reading-only pair, or no prescription route at all. We do not rank those choices for you: the checker states which routes exist for your numbers and your country, and a dispensing optician makes the call.
